A proposal that demonstrates that fashion, when done with intention, can be a platform for social change.<\/p>\n<p>At <strong>Hilaturas Jes\u00fas Rubio<\/strong>, where we have been producing technical and sustainable yarns for more than 50 years, we see in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/rainbow-wool.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Rainbow Wool<\/a><\/strong> an inspiring example: an initiative that links artisanal know-how with a cause that transcends any trend.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>What is Rainbow Wool?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Rainbow Wool is the <strong>first fashion collection made with the wool of homosexual rams<\/strong>, rescued and cared for on a farm in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, owned by shepherd <strong>Michael St\u00fccke<\/strong>, a member of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gayfarmer.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gayfarmer<\/a> association.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/mgSLDbwX0oA?si=Euvnghist8mwqcGy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3><strong>A purpose behind the colour<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>These rams, deemed worthless in industrial breeding and often sent to the slaughterhouse, find in <strong>Rainbow Wool<\/strong> a refuge, and their <strong>wool<\/strong> becomes yarn and a declaration: a fashion piece with purpose that supports LGBTQIA+ equality.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Conscious and collaborative creation<\/strong><\/h2>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The initiative was driven by the Serviceplan Group agency, which purchased and rescued the animals and developed the entire project identity.<\/li>\n<li>Designers such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kilian-kerner.de\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kilian Kerner<\/a>\u00a0and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dannyreinke.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Danny Reinke<\/a>\u00a0created exclusive pieces \u2014from haute couture garments to accessories like patches and laces\u2014, and singer <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bill_Kaulitz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Bill Kaulitz<\/strong><\/a>, from <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Tokio_Hotel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Tokio Hotel<\/strong><\/a>, is the campaign ambassador and has sponsored two rams, Karl and Wolli.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"content-image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hilaturasjesusrubio.net\/media\/hilaturasjesusrubio\/image\/fotos\/embed\/140_Foto.jpg?39017\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Fashion with impact and transparent solidarity<\/strong><\/h2>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The online shop offers products such as <strong>patches<\/strong>, <strong>caps<\/strong>, <strong>laces,<\/strong> and <strong>balls of wool<\/strong>, all made in Europe through artisanal and responsible production.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, there is the option to <strong>sponsor a ram<\/strong> from \u20ac1 \u2014equivalent to one day of animal care\u2014, with a personalised certificate as proof of support.<\/p>\n<p>All proceeds and donations go to <strong>LSVD+ (Queer Diversity Association of Germany)<\/strong>, which drives projects worldwide, especially in places where LGBTQIA+ persecution remains a threat.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>A symbol of creative resistance<\/strong><\/h2>\n<hr \/>\n<p>This project has received attention and recognition:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The media and the public highlight how <strong>Rainbow Wool<\/strong> transforms a marginalised resource into a driver of pride and solidarity.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Auctions have been held for unique pieces, such as the outfit designed for Bill Kaulitz and signed accessories, with proceeds entirely donated to LSVD+.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Rainbow Wool has become an example of \u201c<strong>activism in thread<\/strong>\u201d, where each product acquires a special meaning and proves that fashion can be a platform for LGBTQIA+ rights visibility, without renouncing aesthetics, quality, or ethics.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Some threads convey history, others speak of innovation, and a few manage to become a symbol.
